NOTES
GENERAL
Electrical specification is based on a standard straight waveguide assembly, 600 mm long, silver plated brass core stock, plain (cover) flanges, jacketed with silicone rubber. Please contact factory for guidance on your specific requirement. VSWR figure on WG20 and WG22 are for 300 mm lengths.
FREQUENCY RANGE
Most waveguides can be successfully used over extended frequency ranges. They can also be offered with improved electrical performance over reduced parts of band.
ATTENUATION
Figures shown are indicated values, again they may be improved upon reducing frequency range. Lower figures are subject to test equipment limitations due to extreme low levels.
PEAK POWER
Figures quoted assume dry air, at ground level. Consult factory to discuss trade off between peak, average power, temperature, etc.

NOTES
PRESSURE
Safe operating pressure with no degradation of electrical performance. Higher pressures for purging etc., will not damage assemblies but consult the factory for advice. Design features can be incorporated to strengthen assemblies.
BEND RADII.
The figures shown are for static bent condition.
Tighter bend radii can be achieved if required in most applications. Figures shown are minimum radii, to centre line of waveguide. The criteria for minimum bend radii is that which will not significantly degrade electrical performance. Flexible only waveguide is not designed for continuos flexure. Consult the factory for guidance.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Operating temperature range: -50ºC to +180ºC.
PREFORM SHAPES
Any twistable or non twistable flexible waveguide can be supplied moulded into a predetermined shape. Consult factory for limitations.
